Fall Jar for Samhain: Amplify Your Energy

INTRODUCTION

Hello again! This time I'm back with a fun little project that you can keep on your altar to amplify your intentions or put near your door to stave off negativity and bring in good luck.

We will be working specifically with two main ingredients, acorns and pinecones.

CONSTRUCTING THE JAR

I am going to be using a mason jar with a lid, as I will be placing mine near my door, but feel free to use whatever vessel you like. Into the jar first, I'm going to add my acorns. Feel free to be generous with the amount, I like a double layer of acorns. I got my acorns from outside my home. If you want to add decorations or sigils to the acorns that's fine, just remember if you're taking acorns or pinecones from outside, to thank mother nature.

Now, I want to add a little extra component, but you don't have to do this part if you don't want to. I'm going to add my pinecones, but as I add them to the jar, I'm going to add a strand of twinkle lights, the kind with a battery to turn them on and off. I feel like the lights add a warmth and kind of showcase my jar when people come in my home. I then close the lid and add my wax seal but being careful not to seal the jar completely. Again, you are welcome to add oils and herbs of your choice or draw sigils on the jar.

SUMMARY

I implore you to take a moment to look at acorn and pinecone correspondences. There's so much information out there, and you can see all the benefits of your fall jar. Thank you for coming back, enjoy your fall jar!
