Easy Rosemary Tincture

INTRODUCTION

Hello folks! Today we are going to make a simple yet highly effective tincture using Rosemary. Rosemary has several correspondences within the craft, but also within herbalism. Let's get into it!

THE TINCTURE

With a cutting board and a sharp knife, remove the rosemary from the stems and chop them up. Put the chopped rosemary into a mason jar. Using 80 proof vodka, pour over all the rosemary until it's covered and is one to two inches higher than our herbs. Use a square of wax paper under the metal lid, and then label the jar with the herbal contents, alcohol contents, and the date it was made. Place it in a cupboard and give it a shake periodically.

This tincture should sit for 4 to 6 weeks. Then, using cheese cloth, strain the contents into a clean jar. Discard the rosemary after straining. Store the tincture in the cupboard and be sure to label the new jar as well.

IN SUMMARY

Rosemary is quite powerful all on its own and is a perfect stand in for other herbs in spells, rituals, and offerings. Burn rosemary in your home to cleanse, dress a candle in rosemary to amplify abundance, or even carry a small clipping with you to attract positivity. In conclusion, we hope you enjoyed this post. Blessed be!
